Eagle Observation 3

Start time is 10:23 pm

There are two adult eagles, both are standing up and alert of their surroundings. There is at least two baby chicks in the nest as well. They are laying together so there my be a possibility of more. For the most part the adult eagles are not showing much body movement besides their head. They continue to shake their head back and forth. The baby chicks are showing movement throughout their body , but very little. I now believe their is definitely three chicks with the possibility of a forth. It is now 10;30 and the adult males haven’t moved from their positions and they are like watch out and protecting their offspring. One chick is now up and beginning to stand up and move around. One of the adult eagles is now in the same area of the nest and seems to be comforting them. Both adults are constantly reaching behind them and sticking their beck in their lower back area covered by their wings. All the chicks seem to now be awake and moving around.

I stopped watching at 10:40 pm.

  1. What is cellular respiration? Cellular respiration is the exact opposite reaction to photosynthesis. The combination of glucose and oxygen in plants produces water, carbon dioxide and 36/38 ATP. Happens when the the chemical energy of macro-nutrient energy is released and goes through the process to produce ATP.
  2. How is it related to cricket lab? Carbon dioxide is a product of cellular respiration and the devices and technology we used was to measure the CO2 of the air.  The differences in temperature resulted in a different average of carbon dioxide that was recorded.
