Immediate context – The text was originally published World Post. This is a website with news and blogs. The site launched out of Switzerland in January of the year 2014. A Harvard graduate with over seventeen Grammy Awards, Yo-Yo Ma is the author of his article, “Necessary Edges: Arts, Empathy, and Education.” I noticed about the bio that the author gives himself the high praise he deserves in the first paragraph, listing many impressive achievements. The following paragraph expands more about the text and includes individuals who helped him throughout the process. The concluding paragraph briefs us shorty on the essay we are about to read, intriguing the reader with ending with a question.

Imposed context – The areas that surround my personal reading experience are the following. Although having read hundreds of books, from Shakespeare to JK Rolling, I can honestly admit that not one time in my life have I read a book cover to cover for the leisure of it. I do not enjoy reading books that are confusing or on a topic i don’t care about. That’s the most difficult part for me. The reason for reading this text is to expand our knowledge and give us a different perspective of art. With the reading we will look into detail for immediate context, imposed context and internal context.

Internal context – Following the reading, i would have to say the theoretical situation would be the repletion of human conscientious and empathy as the author goes into detail for many paragraphs. The scope goes past the individual or group of people and looks to expand globalization. I had a tough time declaring just exactly what the so what is.
